Hourly rates: We will not generally provide estimates or bids (although, there are a few exceptions including insurance claims). Due to the nature of repair work, it is normally impossible to accurately predict unforeseen problems.
Materials: Customer agrees to pay invoiced cost of materials when delivered to jobsite. Materials estimated to cost over $30 require a CASH advance of the estimated amount. We agree to not mark up materials and will provide original receipts from Home Depot, ACE Hardware etc.
We do not use our credit or process checks for job materials. If you want to shop with me and pay for materials feel free to come along. If you have the knowledge to shop for materials I will give you a list.
Permits: It is the customer's responsibility to obtain and pay for any necessary permits. Water heater and electrical panel replacements always require permits. Most repairs DO NOT require a permit but, please consult your local building department prior to undertaking major work.
Scheduling: Urgent situations always receive priority and we may change our schedule to service those customers.
Payment: Payment for labor is due at the conclusion of a task or weekly, whichever comes sooner. For non prompt payment or bounced check; property owner will receive a mandatory 20 day California Lien Notice. Property owner agrees to pay ALL costs of filing and removing non-payment liens against their property.
